How to Produce Music Beats

,
LEARN HOW TO MAKE RAP BEATS :

HOW TO CREATE A GOOD SOUNDING BEAT USING A BEAT MAKER - THIS IS EASIER THAN YOU THINK
---------------------------------------

How to Produce Music Beats

With a good beat maker, creating the beat will require a little creativity and will require a tad bit of patience on your part. A good beat maker has a stand-alone feature which means you'll be able to write a piano-key set, write bass-lines, write guitar parts, write piano parts, and create synthesizer sounds, without needing to use or install any 3rd party software, that must be accessible for every individual track.

Not all beat makers can create your beats and convert it into a mp3 format in minutes. Your music sequencer should have its own volume control and effects that includes filter envelopes, reverb, echo, etc. Note that you do not have to complete the percussion part all in one sitting, but adding the hi-hat and the sneer parts for your beat will make it sound much better.

HOW TO PRODUCE YOUR OWN RAP BEATS?
---------------------------------------

When creating music its important that you possess attentive listening, so you can make quality sounding beats which is the general consensus from the best Hip Hop producers in the industry. Understanding the music's basic structure, is very important if you really want to start making beats on your own and taking them to the next level.

SIMPLE STEPS IN PRODUCING A HIP HOP BEAT
---------------------------------------

Pick a style before you jump in and create your beat, Think of the style in which you want your beat to sound (For example, Rap, Pop, Rock or RnB). Single out each track and try to make sure that the track sounds good by itself then equalize it if there is a need for it, but if each track can stand alone and sounds good, then the whole beat will definitely sound better. Starting with a kick, a hi-hat and a snare is always good. By listening to your chosen artist music you will get a basic feel for the type of Hip Hop beat that your artist raps over. The outcome of your melody depends on how you want it to sound, for starters you can always start with a 4 bar melody or even a 8 bar melody. Panning is done for all kinds of reasons to give each and every track its own tiny space in the stereo. The most basic beat that you can make starts with either a 2 or even a 4 bar intro, a 16 bar verse, a 8 bar chorus, a 16 bar verse, and a 8 bars chorus which are common in Rap songs today.

Beat making software will help you and guide you on how to structure your beats, easily edit the beats and track your changes as you move on with your recording.

PRODUCE BEATS JUST LIKE A PRO
---------------------------------------

Firstly, you just have to remember that there are basically tons of options out there for you if you want to make your own top dollar beast. In order for you to produce the beats that you need for your Hip Hop track, you can hit the key/s in whichever way you desire. Practicing, Listening to your instruments and Learning how to make great beats will create the path for you to master your craft.

Learn To Make Rap Beats - It's Simple To Do!

,
LEARN HOW TO MAKE RAP BEATS :

If you've ever dreamed of becoming a rapper, or if you've just ever thought that learning how to make rap beats would be cool, then you'll be surprised to realize that the process is surprisingly simple.
With the right equipment, of course.

Learn To Make Rap Beats - It's Simple To Do!

Without the right equipment, you'll simply be numbered among the many others flailing around in the dark. Let's face it, becoming a rap star and being paid thousands of dollars for other people to make rap beats for you may be a lifelong ambition, but if you haven't been able to reach that goal quite yet, then a tool that will let you make rap beats from the comfort of your own home would be just as good a place to start as any.

Even if you don't want stardom and instead just want to have a little fun by mixing your own music, programs that allow you to make rap beats will be useful for your extracurricular activities. If you find a program that is advanced enough to let you do more than make rap beats, then you can sell your work to the other average Joes who actually made it to rap star status.

But where, oh, where would you find a program that's able to fit all of your needs so well?

Usually when people make rap beats they have to do so in a studio.
Do you know what that means? That means big, expensive equipment that, to the non-beat-making individual, looks as advanced as alien technology. When you deal with studio-grade equipment, you have to have studio-grade knowledge, something most of us were not born with.

Don't get me wrong, a professional who likes to make rap beats all the time would be completely comfortable in a room full of gadgets. The real question is, what category do you fall under?

There is software on the market that, while it will help you make rap beats, can be almost as confusing as if you'd just walked into a studio if you don't know what you're doing. A run-of-the-mill program that allows the user to make rap beats usually lets you do one of two things: you can add already-recorded sounds to your own mixes (which doesn't work out well since most of those pre-recorded beats have bad quality and add very little to the overall cool factor of a beat), or you can mix audio files off of your computer together (which isn't exactly coming up with your own creation).

So what sort of program can you get that does all you need it to, managing to be a great fit for both professionals and amateurs alike, but is also more affordable than its competitors?

Well, never fear. No matter your experience level or your overall goals, Dub Turbo is proof that a program with the characteristics you're looking for isn't just a pipedream.

Make Your Own Beats Online in Hours!

,
LEARN HOW TO MAKE RAP BEATS :

Do you want to learn how to make your own beats online? A lot of people assume that it is hard to do without the proper equipment. Well, it is not if you have an easy-to-use beat software. I remember when I used to go to my producer's house and be in awe at all of the equipment he had. It had cost him thousands of dollars. Nowadays, I can produce the same type of beat he did with just an online beat maker that costs me less than 40 bucks. How cool is that! You can of course buy things to enhance the beat, but the beats that I came up with are industry standard tracks.

Make Your Own Beats Online in Hours!

If you're not familiar with online beat software, do some research on your own first. There are a couple of programs that are valuable. Make sure it's easy to maneuver and also includes a video on how to make rap beats. I always recommend newcomers to look for software that provides video tutorials. It's much easier to actually look at someone using the program than walking into something blindly that you know nothing about.

Besides it being cheaper to make your own beats online, it is also easier in my opinion and less maintenance. Some producers had equipment laying around that they haven't touched in years or it was malfunctioned. Whatever system you use to learn how to make your own beats online, check about the refund policy. If you're not satisfied, you should be able to receive your money back.

Making Professional Studio Quality Beats From Home

,
LEARN HOW TO MAKE RAP BEATS :

Love music? Whether it's hip-hop, dance, trance, house or alternative music that you are interested in, there comes a time when any serious music fan starts to think about making their own music. If you're one of those people, then you're reading the right article.

Making Professional Studio Quality Beats From Home

The first thing that you need to learn is that music production need not be expensive in order to sound great. Club hits and chart-toppers these days are not always the result of a massive budget. Electronic music can be created with very little outlay in your own home.

If you're not yet in a position to start paying for a recording studio, paying for someone else to help produce your music or even pay for some of the expensive beat creation software that you may have come across, then don't be put off. There are cheaper options out there. Some of them, admittedly, are not great. Some of the online beat makers out there, those with a Flash-only interface, probably won't satisfy your craving for great studio-quality sounds. But there are less expensive options which will give you the sound you are looking for.

The software package Dub Turbo, for instance, contains a huge number of beats and comes with simulated drum kits, keyboard, sequencers and everything you need to make fantastic tracks that are going to make your friends wonder how you managed to get so skilled, so quickly. And as a bonus, you might even make some money from your creations. If you're very lucky, you could hit the big time.

There's a ton of video tutorials available for this package too, so you can go from complete beginner to producer of great tracks in no time. Burn them onto CD and everyone you know will be jealous.

You can see how easy it is here: http://www.beat-creator.net/

How to Create Rap Beats That Create Residual Streams of Income - Forever!

,
LEARN HOW TO MAKE RAP BEATS :

For people who are new to making rap beats for dollars, here is an interesting concept: if you create a hot beat, it will pay you many times over and above the time it took to create it. What do I mean when I say this? I mean your beats have value, not only to you but to others as well.

How to Create Rap Beats That Create Residual Streams of Income - Forever!

My rap group Prophetix, put together a single back in 2000 called "True Urban Grit". It was the first song we recorded with our new Dee Jay/producer. Little did we know that this song would become a standard (a song that stands the test of time) in our music catalog. We released the single to as many media outlets as we could including commercial, non-commercial, and college radio. We sent out press releases, email blast, and performed that song all over the United States. We even sent copies of it overseas.

We'll that song not only was a favorite in our live shows but it became #1 on Tokyo, Japan's most popular rap radio shows. Yes, I said Japan. We sold all of the copies that were pressed up so we made some money as well as gained recognition. After we had completed several other projects a few years later, we get a call from DJ Numark from Jurassic 5.

This was in 2005. My DJ knew Cut Chemist who was the other DJ in Jurassic 5 and I'm not sure how Numark got the song but somehow it ended up in his hands. He wanted to put out a mixtape with "True Urban Grit" on it so we begin negotiations. After the negotiations were over we finally agreed on some upfront cash to let him use the rights to our song. We settled on ,500.00 which is not too bad for a song that was created 5 years earlier. The part that is even more amazing is that he only used the first 30 seconds of the song.

This was pretty cool considering we didn't expect this money to come at all. This is the power of not only creating rap beats but understanding music publishing as well. Creating rap beatsis an investment in your future. Is this for everyone? Certainly not, but for those that are serious about being in the business of music, it would do you good to learn about music publishing and royalties.

Wouldn't it be good to collect checks over and over for music you only worked to create once? I have only scratched the surface of the power of creating rap beats. Some artists don't even know they can collect fees for licensing their beats to BMI and ASCAP. These are the publishing societies that license your music to radio, television, movies, ringtones, etc. They also collect payment for you and send you a quarterly check if anyone uses your music.

Imagine what kind of checks Dr. Dre, Timbaland, Kanye West, and Just Blaze get just for creating rap beats. Now imagine how it would feel if you were getting these checks. It would feel good wouldn't it? So what are you waiting on? You have beats to create! Get started making and marketing your beats now and with a bit of luck and hard work you can get rich by making beats.

How To Become A Rapper

,
LEARN HOW TO MAKE RAP BEATS :

To become a Rapper would be a dream career bringing you fame money and power. Many people think that this dream is unachievable or that it is only for the lucky few. This is not so. Becoming a Rap Artist has very little to do with luck and is a lot more about learning, dedication and hard work. So how do you become a successful Rapper?

How To Become A Rapper

  1. Practice Makes Perfect: Unless you are at the top of your field you aren't going to go anywhere in a hurry. So you must practise your rap skills all throughout the day, every day. Try making a game out of it where any words you speak are spoken in improvised rap so that you become acustomed to coming out with clever lyrics and a smooth flow on the spot.
  2. Creating Beats: Having unique, attention grabbing beats is of major importance to your music. You can either pay someone to create beats for you or you can purchase beat making software and learn how to make beats yourself (by far the more cost effective option).
  3. Writing Lyrics: Anyone can throw a few simple rhymes together and rap them over a beat but a truly great rap song should make use of advanced literary devices and clever spins on words to grab the listener's attention. So if you want to become a rapper you will have to research your literary devices. The songs lyrics should always match the mood and flow of the beat so you should always pick your beat first and then write your lyrics to it otherwise you are going to have to keep making changes.
  4. Promoting your music: Your music isn't going to promote itself and very few Rap Artists will get signed to a record label first time lucky. Unless you have the money to hire yourself a manager you will have to learn how to promote your own music to get yourself the gigs and build the contacts that will help you get signed to a record label.

This is a breakdown of the main aspects you will need to research and put into works if you are to become a successful Rap Artist. The rise to stardom is no easy road but if you are willing to put in the time, energy and commitment that it takes to become a rapper then your chances will be as good as any.

5 Things You NEVER Should Do on Twitter!

,
LEARN HOW TO MAKE RAP BEATS :

You've spent lots of time and effort crafting your online image and identity, you've built a good reputation and it can serve you well long into the future - unless you destroy it, something that can happen with a single tweet (as we have seen from several actors and politicians lately.

5 Things You NEVER Should Do on Twitter!

Here are 5 things to NEVER do on Twitter"

1. "T.W.I." or Tweeting While Intoxicated. If you've had a few, you can do a lot more stupid things than calling your ex - you are likely to tweet less than brilliant ramblings filled with typos or worse, you may even be tempted to tweet your ex with secret confessions - for all the world to see.

2. Automate your Social Media. The key ingredient of social media is the social part - you can't have a computer bot pretend to be you, YOU have to be you. This includes auto responders - it's obvious to poeple who get them. Got a new follower? Unless you're Lady Gaga, you DO have the time to send a quick "@_,Thanks" and demonstrate your good manners. The same applies to Repeat-Tweet, if you have a gem of a tweet that you want to put out there more than once, do it - a little differently each time. You're making a point, not beating a drum.

3. Sell and Yell. If all you do is tell people how great your stuff is and why they should buy it, you'll see your Twitter followers disappear like people abandoning a sinking ship. Twitter is for communicating, it's for commenting, sometimes it's just for carrying on - but it's not for "selling and yelling" if it's all about you, all the time, it's a safe bet people will ignore you pretty quick. Give value: tweet stuff that matter's to the people you're connected with, if once in a while you have a special offer then make it - but make sure you've earned the right, earned the trust. Always remember; this isn't broadcast, it's social.

4. Re-Tweeting without Acknowledgement. If someone you follow on Twitter posts something particularly interesting or clever and you want to pass it on, or re-tweet it, then by all means do so, but acknowledge the source either by leaving the RT up front where Twitter puts it automatically or by adding "via @myFriend" at the end. If you pretend you thought it up, it's like stealing - bad behavior! Acknowledging in the RT is the internet equivalent of applause, it's flattering to the originator and helps build your community by showing that you care and share.

5. Dropping the "F Bombs". Would you talk to your mother like that? If not, then spare Twitter foul language - nobody reads an expletive laden tweet and thinks "gee, they are so smart, I want to be like them!" (or do business with them) A possible exception is if you are a famous Rap Star or something, then you can get away with it - but you should be ashamed of yourself!

There are plenty of great things to do on Twitter, meet people, find information, learn stuff, share your expertise, build your Expert visibility, grow your connections (and your business) steer clear of these few potential pitfalls and let the Tweeting fun continue!

Sure Techniques to Help You Create Rap Music

,
LEARN HOW TO MAKE RAP BEATS :

If you are one of the many rap enthusiasts, you do not have to always be just an adoring fan from afar. You can do definitely more than that! In fact, you can create your own rap music! It is never that hard as you may think. The truth is that there are simple yet sure techniques to help you create rap music.

Sure Techniques to Help You Create Rap Music

Listen to rap played every day on the radio. Listen how your favorite artists deliver their songs. Feel the emotions going through their songs. By listening intently everyday, you will get to feel that rap music is really such an important part of your life like eating and sleeping. This will make you love rapping even more and will motivate you to create rap music.

Then, try your hands into writing. It is really not such a big deal if you do not love writing so much. But for the sake of creating raps, you really have to make an effort to write. This will help you create your own style in rapping. This will also give you insurmountable ideas for your songs. Write anything under the sun. Write how you feel at a certain day. Write about the couple you saw holding hands in the park. Write about the young kid enjoying her ice cream. Write about the baby you saw laughing his heart out. This way, you get to free your emotions. Emotions written can be transferred indirectly to the rap music that you are making.

Another sure technique is to build rapport with other rappers. Listen to them and ask for pointers. Make it your passion to rap with them; really sing with them day in and day out. Aside from improving yourself with rapping style, this is also fun! This technique will also help you to connect with the entirety of the song, never losing the subject.

The next technique may sound as a cliché but there is no better way into creating rap music but to keep on practicing. Practice a great deal. Rap all day, everyday! Rap with your family, rap with your friends, rap with your neighbors, even rap with your teachers! They may get to be irritated at first, but at least they will immediately associate you with rap music. This is a good edge to help them better understand your passion with rapping. More often than not, these same people will also be the first ones to support you and applaud you in your sure way to success in creating rap music.

Freestyle Rap Beats - Make Rap Beats Hip Hop Instrumentals

,
LEARN HOW TO MAKE RAP BEATS :

If you want to create freestyle rap beats, then read this. You will learn how to make rap beats and hip hop instrumentals.

Freestyle Rap Beats - Make Rap Beats Hip Hop Instrumentals

What do you know about a sequencer? This is a piece of equipment that you can use in conjunction with your computer. In our article today, we are going to discuss what a sequencer is and how you can use it.

The first thing that you need to know is what a sequencer is. Acting as either a player or a recorder, a sequencer is basically a piece of software that sits on a computer or can be a part of another system such as a keyboard or a workstation. You can load different sounds, different songs and different instruments onto a sequencer.

There are two different types of computer sequencers. The types of computer-based sequencers are based on the type of operating systems on the computer. The sequencers can either run on a Windows based computer or on a Mac computer.

Trying to arrive at a decision as to what type of sequencer you will purchase can be a confusing process. The best thing to do is to go to Google and look for trial versions of sequencers. What you will ultimately purchase will be based on several different factors such as how much money you have to spend, to your personal, and production goals.

Again make sure that you try the sequencer before you actually purchase it. The various test versions will let you look at some factors like how easy it is to use, how it performs, the ability to record, master and mix among other things.

So before you actually buy a sequencer, set your goals so that you know what you are looking for and how you want to use it. Next make sure that you try out the demo versions for each one that you think that you might want to buy. Try each one until you find the one that satisfies each of your goals at the best price.

How to Be a Better Rapper - 3 Tips to Improve Your Writing

,
LEARN HOW TO MAKE RAP BEATS :

Anyone who raps wants to know how to be a better rapper. With any possible vocation, there is always more to learn, and there is always room for improvement. Rapping is no exception. Whether it be your delivery, your flow, or the actual words you are spitting, you may be wondering how you can go about bettering your rap game.

How to Be a Better Rapper - 3 Tips to Improve Your Writing

Here are three simple tips for those who can't seem to stop wondering how to be a better rapper.

1. Expand Your Horizons:

So you have chosen the genre of gangsta rap. What does this mean? That every single song you record has to be about gang life, drive-by shootings, and murder cases? NO!

The number one mistake any rapper can make is limiting his/her self to one style of rapping. There is nothing wrong with opening your mind and expanding your possible song topics! Now this doesn't mean that you have to throw out all those hard-hitting street anthems! It just means that there is nothing wrong with throwing an emotional, heart-felt tale into the mix. Try to paint a vivid picture of what you are conveying with your words.

2. Deflate the Ego:

Rapping is all about big egos, which can sometimes involve cheap heat fueled by feuds with other rappers. One integral thing to remember about how to be a better rapper is if you are just starting out, keep your ego in check! The theory that any publicity is good publicity is a FOOLISH way to look at things. Nobody will respect you right out of the box unless you pay your dues and show respect back!

3. Constantly Expand Your Vocabulary:

No... I'm not saying you need to start carrying a dictionary around with you. All I'm saying is that you shouldn't ever be afraid to experiment with words! Always be on the lookout for synonyms and rhymes for different words. Rhyming dictionaries can be helpful with this research.

Above all, have fun with it! Don't force yourself to write if you don't feel like writing! Wait until inspiration hits! You should see your verses improving dramatically!

You can find beats easily on the internet. Just search Google and Soundclick and you will be sure to find a beat to write rap song lyrics to.

2. Choose a Main Topic. Once you find a beat that you want to use, begin thinking of a topic that goes nicely with the beat you chose. Remember to choose a topic that relates with both YOU and the beat. If you chose a sad, emotional-sounding beat, then pick a topic that is sad and emotional and that you relate with. If you pick a club style beat then choose a topic that is relevant to the club scene. Listen to your beat, ask yourself what kind of impact you would like your rap song lyrics to have on people, and decide on your main topic. Remember that how you write rap song lyrics will greatly depend on your topic.

3. Write Your Hook. A lot of rappers and producers alike find it best practice to begin a rap song by first writing the hook. Now that you have your beat and main topic selected, you have a great foundation to begin writing your hook lyrics to.

To explain how to write rap hooks, I've broken hook-writing down into a few steps that I have found to be very effective.

a.) Consider these things: Do you want the hook to be catchy? Do you want it to be deep and emotional? Do you want to sing it or rap it out?

b.) Listen to the hook part of your beat. Vibe with the beat and start freestyling some ideas. Even if your words aren't making sense, freestyle to the beat to establish some different flows. Experiment and figure out what you like.

c.) Now that you have some ideas flowing, begin writing lyrics down. Make a list of words that you might want to incorporate into the hook.

d.) Look at your word list as you listen to the beat and begin freestyling some new ideas with these words.

e.) Once you come up with some strong ideas, it may be a good idea to quickly record them to see which one sounds the best. Once you've decided, we can move on with the verses!

4. Begin Writing the Verses. Now that the hook is finished, you have everything laid out for the verses. So how do you write rap song verses?

a.) Start each verse off strong in order to develop a connection with the listener right away. A good way to do this is to begin with a controversial, funny, bold, or catchy opening line.

b.) Now that you've got the listeners attention, finish out your verses with content that is relevant to your topic. Rhyme more than just the last word in each sentence when you can. Try to use different flow structures throughout instead of just sticking to one the whole time.

c.) If you are having trouble or writer's block, write out a list of rhyming words that relate to your topic (use a dictionary and thesaurus if necessary) and refer to this list to spark ideas.

d.) Just as you started off strong, end the verse lyrics strong too! Make sure you transition into the hook smoothly and finish with a bang!

5. Practice! Perhaps the most underrated part of rapping...practice! It's one thing to know how to write rap song lyrics, but putting it into action is something else. Once you have your song written, practice it over and over until you know it by heart and can recite it perfectly with no flaws. Trust me this is important!

I hope you now know how to write rap song lyrics more efficiently and effectively. Apply what you've learned to your next rap song and I am sure you will notice a difference!

How to Make Hip Hop Beats - 10 Easy Steps

,
LEARN HOW TO MAKE RAP BEATS :

When you're just starting out how to make beats it can be fun and frustrating at the same time. Trust me I was there. But it really is easier then you think. If you're making a beat here are 10 tips that will get yo stated.

How to Make Hip Hop Beats - 10 Easy Steps

1. Pick a style- Know the style of beat you want to make before you start making it. Like rnb, rap, pop, etc. There have been plenty of beats that I made and could not figure out what style it was.

2. Pick A Major Artist- Think of a known artist that you would want to make the beat for. Like if you chose a style a rap, think now what rap artist do you want to make the beat for. Try to imagine that artist on your beat. This will make your hip hop beat-making experience a whole lot easier.

3. Listen To Their Song- Take a listen to the rap artist you are making the beat for songs. See the style. Get a feel for the kind of hip hop beats the artist raps over.

4. Formatting The Song- Very important. formatting is, the intro, verse, chorus, verse, bridge, etc. That's all it is but basically you just change the order around however you feel like it. Turn on the radio and see how your favorite artist formats there song. When instruments come in, when they drop out. The most basic form to start with is, 2 or 4 bar intro, 16 bar verse, 8 bar chorus, 16 bar verse, 8bar chorus, 16 bar verse, 8 bars chorus. This is the most basic beat-making song format. This is very common in rap. If you want an even simpler way, you can create an 8 bar loop and keep it the same throughout the whole song. I have seen this done a lot.

5. Laying down the beat- I have learned that for starters, it's easier to start with the drums. Kick, Snare, Hi hat, are always a good start. Record a pattern for four bars with those first. Then layer that with maybe some toms, cow-bell, symbols, etc. Whatever you want to use. THE DRUMS ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT IN MAKING HIP HOP BEATS! Your drums must hit and hit HARD. The best way to get your drums hitting hard is by not using "pitty pat" free kits you downloaded from the internet for free. If your drums are weak, then your beat is going to be weak.

6. Laying Down A Melody- This is where most hip hop beat-makers have the most trouble. Because most eat makers can't play the keys. For starters, you might want to learn basic keyboard skills. The major thing you need to learn are, major and minor scales. After you learn that, try and do different combinations and patterns with the drum beat you have made. Use an instrument like, a lead guitar, horns, clav, something that will stand out. Your melody can be however you want it, but for starters, you could do a 4 bar melody, or an 8 bar melody.

7. Layering The Beat- What is done a lot in beat making is layering. If you have your whole beat finished. You can go and make it sound bigger by layering. All you do is fill in some gaps, do the same pattern you did with one instrument with another instrument. Do this throughout your beat. This will make you beat sound a lot fatter.

8. Pan- Panning is basically having an instrument all the way to the right, all the way to the left, and anywhere in between. You pan for all kinds of different reasons. It gives each track its own little space in the stereo field. There are no rules for panning, put you have to do it. So just try it out and see what you like best.

9. The Mixdown- Very important! Very Important! Very Important! If you have a poor mix on your beat, then you have pretty much wasted your time. When mixing a beat, start with each track individually. Solo each track and make sure it sounds good by itself. EQ it if you have to, but if each track sounds good by itself, the whole beat will sound that much better. DO NOT DISTORT! If your master levels are in the red before you bounce to disc or .mp3, your distorting. Don't worry about if its not loud enough. You never ever ever want to distort. If you are distorting, check any instrument that has boom or low end, Like a kick, bass, sub, etc. these tend to distort more often.

10. The Bounce- Now that you made you're beat, Its the hottest hip hop beat ever, you want to put it on cd or upload it to the internet. When you're exporting a beat for cd, Use .wav file. 44.1 16bit. If you want to upload to the internet use, 320kbps (the highest .mp3 quality) or 128kbps. Most websites wont accept 320kbps because the file size is too big. So go with 128kbps.

These are all just guidelines to help you get started. There are millions of ways to make a beat, But this is just to help you get your feet wet if you don't know where to start.

How to Rap Better - Some Helpful Tips

,
LEARN HOW TO MAKE RAP BEATS :

Wanting to know how to rap better is not an uncommon thing for aspiring Mc's to want to know. Yes, it is true that if you ask ten seasoned rappers this question, you probably will get ten different answers. In this article, I will go over some pretty universal helpful tips that can help any up and coming MC that is wanting to know how to rap better.

How to Rap Better - Some Helpful Tips

Before I go into the tips, I do want to let you know that despite what some may think, rapping is a true art that can be mastered by anyone that is truly serious about becoming a real MC. Some of today's biggest and most talented rap stars may have been blessed with some natural rhyming ability, but even they had to learn the art of rapping to get to the level that they are at.

Now let's get into some helpful tips that will surely help any aspiring MC..

Study Others - What I mean is, listen to those that you look up to and respect as a MC. This doesn't have to be some super famous rapper. This can be a local rapper that you feel is really talented as a rapper. When starting out, you should listen to those you admire as much as you can. You will eventually start to pick up some of the skill traits that they have. Don't try to mimic the way the rapper acts or talks, just listen to pick up on the way they put certain sentences together and the way they emphasize certain words. Studying others can be very helpful, and it's easy to do.

Record Yourself - I would invest in a small little voice recorder (nothing fancy). Use this to record yourself rapping. This will allow you to listen to yourself rhyming and help critique your flow easier. Sometimes a rapper really needs to hear themselves before they can improve their skills.

Write About Different Subjects - One thing that a great MC must have is creativity, and one of the best ways to improve your creativity as a rapper is to write on various topics. I'm talking about writing rhymes about anything and everything. Write rhymes about a television show you watch or the girl you like, it doesn't matter what it is, just write.

Freestyle Rap - Even if you really do not care for freestyle rapping, you still should do it. The more you freestyle rap the better your overall flow and delivery will become.

Get Opinions - I know this can be difficult at times, but getting honest opinions from people can help you better your rap. If you are going to be a real MC, you must be willing to take some criticism. Take this criticism and use it to make yourself a stronger MC.

This article was written to help those wanting to learn how to rap better. Using these tips will definitely improve your rap game.

Good Luck

Equipment to Make Beats - The 4 Things You Need to Make Your Own Rap Beats

,
LEARN HOW TO MAKE RAP BEATS :

A Music Production Software

Equipment to Make Beats - The 4 Things You Need to Make Your Own Rap Beats

This is probably the most important piece of equipment to make beats. Your choice of software could have implications in the style you develop as a music producer. But for somebody starting from zero I would recommend to not pay too much for this yet.

Most of the peripherals needed to make beats come with light versions of popular music software. Even though the purpose is to temp you to upgrade to the more expensive versions, these light editions have more than enough sounds to keep anyone going for a long time.

If you have absolutely no experience you could check something like Sonic Pro, a very popular online program that for only .00 USD offers a sequencer, sounds, instruments and more important, video tutorials on how to make your own beats.

An Audio Interface

One of the most important reasons why to get a decent audio interface is their handling of a common problem with computers and music, latency. This is the amount of time that it takes the computer to process an incoming signal.

Latency can create very annoying issues when making beats, like playing a midi note and hearing the sound a second later. It would be extremely difficult to record live that way. Also if you want to connect instruments, external synths and drum machines, audio interfaces feature the proper inputs.

A Midi Controller

Most of today midi controllers plug to the computer via USB and are recognized automatically by most music software, requiring almost no technical knowledge to get them going.

The most popular midi controllers come in 2 flavors, keyboard or pads. The keyboard is the most popular and the most practical, but rubber pads can yield more rhythmically interesting beats. Even better is the new breed of controllers that blend both together.

Monitors

It might seem like the least important feature for someone getting started, but this depends on how much you enjoy making music. The issue lies in the reproduction of the entire frequency spectrum. Small computer speakers by default mess with the audio content, hyping up frequencies because of their inability to fully reproduce them.

Even though the monitors at beginner prices are not the full solution, as you go up in price you start to get a more realistic image of the sound you're working on. At lower prices most monitors still hype up the sound a little, but in a way that compliments music making and not video game playing.

Giving Away Free Beats to Promote Your Site

,
LEARN HOW TO MAKE RAP BEATS :

So you have a beat-selling website that gets around 100 people visiting it per day. That's 100 potential customers. But are they returning visitors and previous customers or just casual passers by? Statistically it has been shown that buyers in the beat market do not purchase a beat the first time on a site. More frequently they buy on the 3rd, 4th or 5th time. So how do you keep them coming back?

Giving Away Free Beats to Promote Your Site

One of the most important things that I learned about having a beat-selling site is the value of building your email list. Once you have an email list, you can send out emails to all of your subscribers whenever you have a new beat, which greatly increases your chance of a sale.

So in this example, say out of those 100 visitors, you're able to capture 20 emails per day. This would mean that in a year's time, you would have a list of over 6000 potential customers that could potentially want one of your beats. So when you send out an email to those 6000 people, say 1% actually buy a beat when you send out an email. That's 60 people buying a beat every time that you make a new beat. If you're selling your beats for , you just made 00-just by sending an email!

But how do you build your list? Well if you have a Soundclick page, they enable all premium customers to build an email list for no additional cost. This is one of the greatest things about Soundclick. There are producers on Soundclick that are getting 1000s of visitors a day, collecting hundreds of email addresses. You better believe when they release a new track, they make a good amount of money.

However if you have built your own website, there is a different solution available to you. AWeber is an email marketing company that allows you to automatically build and maintain your email list. The monthly cost is for lists under 500 and then goes up from there. But like I've shown, the service will pay for itself many times over and is well worth the investment if you're getting any amount of traffic to your site.

In order to entice people to actually sign up or opt in to your email list, you have to give them something. Some producers simply say that they'll keep them updated and send out emails every time that they post a new beat. If your beats are incredible, this may be enough. However, I've found that you can greatly increase your opt-in rate if you give away free beats to your subscribers. So as soon as they subscribe to your email list, you give them a few free beats.

Even though giving away these free beats means that they may not purchase a beat the first time that they are on your site, you now have their email address forever and a week later or a month later, it is likely that they will come back and purchase.

Practice Your Freestyling

,
LEARN HOW TO MAKE RAP BEATS :

There are really two parts to freestyling. There is the freestyling and there is rhyming. If you are just starting out, focus on freestyling.

Practice Your Freestyling

Now as you start focusing on freestyling, the key is to focus on freestyling without rhyming. Just forget about rhyming. What this means is that you will say whatever flows in your mind.

Don't be afraid to make mistakes. Everyone makes mistakes. The key is to continue going through if you make a mistake. Don't stop. Just keep on through the mistakes. Remember that most of the people won't realize that you made the mistake. Just you will, so just keep on freestyling.

Make a point of freestyling for 15 minutes every day. Have 5 instrumental songs going and then freestyle for 15 minutes. Don't concentrate on what you say or what you sound like. Just practice your flowing.

Get any kind of book and start rapping while reading it. This will help you to focus on saying stuff so your mouth can go free when you freestyle. This will help you to develop your rhythm and rhyming. You need to be aware of the rhythm of the beats also. You will learn how to use words so that they flow with the rhythm even though they don't have the same rhyming type of words.

Remember all the exercises that you did using your senses. The purpose of those exercises was to come up with material to use while freestyling. Well, it is now time to use all that material. Start with one sense and start freestyling using just that one sense. If you practice this at home, then when you run out of stuff to say while you are actually rapping, you can use your senses wherever you are at and come up with something to rap about.

Just remember that as long as you remember to use each of your senses, you will never run out of something to say. You will be able to always come up with something to rap about even when you feel like you have run out of material, because you will always be able to fall back on your senses.

How to Become a Hip Hop Rapper

,
LEARN HOW TO MAKE RAP BEATS :

Thousands of young people everywhere want to become famous rappers. The lure of making it big in the industry, getting rich, gaining material possessions and of course women is a huge attraction for those who aspire to rap. Rapping is the deliverance of words in various rhyme patterns such as slow and fast word-play. Those who are lucky enough to make it big can make very good money. Some big time famous rappers earn up to 30 million or more. However the typical average unknown rapper earns very little next to nothing.

How to Become a Hip Hop Rapper

Now in order for you to become a rapper you first have to learn how to rap. To be honest and truthful everyone will not be able to do this. The gift of music has to be in you. Some of you will never be good at it no matter how hard you try. With that being said learning how to rap starts off with you listening to rap music. Everyone has a favorite rapper that they look up to and strive to emulate. Listen to as much rap music as possible. Listen to how the artist puts his or hers words together. As you become familiar with the
music, this includes the different styles of beats, you will began to understand melody and rhythm. This is important for understanding how to rap on time with the beat.

Follow along with your favorite rap artist by memorizing his or hers songs. Learn to say it down to the very last word. Put emphasis on certain words or sentences just like the artist. Practice doing this as much as possible. This will help you learn to move your lips and your tongue and rap from the center of your chest and not just your throat. Learn to speak clearly and say your words so that they are clearly understood.

Next you should write rhymes whenever possible. This is something you want to seriously master. Write about all sorts of things that come to mind. Write about your real life experiences, or other peoples experiences. Write about expensive cars and clothes or jewelry. Write about going to the movies or church or eating your favorite foods. You can pretty much write about anything you choose. Always keep a pen and pad with you so you can jot down any ideas that come to mind. This training will help you master the art of writing and putting words together, thus developing your own personal rapping style.

Master using puns, assonance, consonance and alliteration to become excellent with your word play. Learn to be creative with your rhyming, for instance: try telling a story that rhymes, as most hip hop heads know, slick rick mastered this uncanny skill.

Now once you have learned how to rap your next step is to practice, practice and practice some more. For this step you need to go out and start displaying your talent. What this will do is help you progress in your rhyming ability. What you do is go out and battle other rappers in your area. Get in as many rhyme sessions as possible, if you see a group of people rapping you make sure to get in it and spit your rhymes. Perform at house parties to get recognition.Learn to free style off the top of your head on any subject. Join as many rap contests in your area as possible. Think about rapping all the time and whenever something bad or good happens to you, make sure to rap about it.

At this time you need to decide what type of rap you want to do. There are various forms to choose from. Gangsta which is very popular right now is how many rappers get a deal. However there is also Gospel, Pop, R&B, and Rock to name a few. Which ever form you do choose you need to represent it accordingly.

Next thing you should do is make a demo CD that can be distributed to promote yourself. Find yourself an inexpensive music studio and start recording. Make sure the producer has skills to pump out quality beats. Remember many people will be listening to your CD so make it good and memorable. Now that you have your bomb CD made it is time to promote your work. You can do this on the internet through social networking sites, blogs and websites.

Next you want to give out your CD to other DJs and rappers. Create flyers and give them out at clubs, rap events, shows, and parties. Network with anyone who is in the same field as you. They may know someone who can help you get your foot in the door. Submit your your work to major record labels. First research the label that your going to send your music to, to make sure they take unsolicited material. Try to contact the A&R executive through phone, emails and letters. Make sure your ready to rap at all times. Make sure to have a press kit along with your CD. Your CD should have at least four of your hottest songs on it.

Your journey to become the next JayZ will be a long taxing effort. But anything worth achieving is not easy to get. You may or may not become a world famous rapper, but you will be able to look back on the experience and tell yourself you gave it the old college try. Continue making music and never give up, because if you really love to do it, it will not matter weather you make it big or not. You will still be a rapper a million dollars or none.

Create Unlimited Wealth with One Simple Secret!

,
LEARN HOW TO MAKE RAP BEATS :

There is but one secret that will create unlimited wealth in your life. It may shock you when you find out how simple it really is.

Create Unlimited Wealth with One Simple Secret!

All of the giants of industry and business knew the secret to http://www.onlinemotivationalquotes.com">create unlimited wealth. The secret is the easy part, what you have to do once you know the secret is what is tough. Henry Ford, Andrew Carnegie, and Bill Gates all understood the secret and were willing to apply it to amass fortunes.

Are you?

The super wealthy, the ones that earned it, did so because they had an IDEA! Then they acted upon that idea with ferocity and perseverance. You see all accumulated wealth from being successful in business starts with an idea. For Henry Ford it was supplying America with affordable cars. Bill Gates envisioned the future of the personal computer as a mainstay in all households.

Create Unlimited Wealth by:

1. Have an Idea!

2. Develop a Plan.

3. Pursue that Plan Relentlessly.

4. Don't Accept Failure!

5. If that Plan Doesn't Work - Change It!

It Starts with an Idea - Every great business success started as an idea in someone's head. The people that have the courage to act upon those ideas are the people that become wealthy and successful. However, it takes more than an idea; I wish it were that simple! You must surround yourself with people that share your vision and can compliment your talents. Remember, you don't know everything and the smart person does not have all the answers but they know where to find them.

Develop a Plan - Take your idea and put it on paper. Share it with the people in your think tank, get their input. Only talk to those in your think tank, these are the people you trust. Make them a part of the plan but keep all parts of the plan and idea secret until you have to let it out. You may talk to the wrong person and they beat you to the punch and get your idea to the market place before you. Another reason to keep your idea and plan under raps is to keep people from telling you why it CAN'T be done. Anything is possible!

Get the plan in place with the help of your think tank (possible business partners). Your plan should include things like: access to capital, business proposals, marketing strategies, and production strategies. Now that you have a plan then it is time to act on it.

Pursue Your Plan Relentlessly - Most successful business people after developing their plan act on implementing it. You must not be timid, if you know what you want go after it with a relentless pursuit. This is where you see the wheels start to fall off with most unsuccessful business attempts. They become passive when implementing their plan. If they hit a few stumbling blocks they begin to loose confidence and become indecisive. You must pursue your dreams of wealth and business with passion!

Don't Accept Failure - Failure simply means that you have not succeeded, YET! This ties in closely with the above point in the sense that most business failures have come because:

1. People did not plan well,

2. Because they gave up to soon.

In the great book Think and Grow Rich, by Napoleon Hill, he discovered that the wealthy and successful people he had studied in the book all had reached their greatest success only because they had the courage to continue on after each failure. Mr. Hill became aware that almost everyone he had studied for that book had reached their greatest success after they had pulled through their greatest hardship.

Just remember that Failure is Not an Option.

If That Plan Doesn't Work - Change It - Plans are all works in progress and they are meant to be updated and tweaked. Rather than quitting if your plan does not work, change it. Study the old plan, learn why it did not work and make the necessary changes. If you must change it a hundred times until you find the right plan.

Creating unlimited wealth and success is not just for the chosen few or the lucky. It is for everyone that has the courage to get that idea out of their head and into action. You must be willing to pursue your dream relentlessly, be decisive, and not be willing to accept failure. Great wealth and success is more about making up your mind and seeing yourself as if you already are wealthy and successful, than it is about chance and luck.

Use this outline and create unlimited wealth for yourself! Earl Nightingale once said, "You become what you think about". If all you think about is the reasons why you can't be wealthy and successful then not being wealthy and unsuccessful is all you ever will be. Quit waiting for chance, winners make their own chances. Get that idea out of your head and turn it into wealth.

,
LEARN HOW TO MAKE RAP BEATS :

The best thing about the advances in technology is the fact that it opens up the doors to all sorts of things that you could not normally do ten years ago.

How To Make Beats On A Computer - Some Tips To Get You Started!

For instance if you wanted to make rap beats at home on a computer 10 years back you would need a recording studio and that of course would mean renting one and having to actually go into proper music production and it could takes years of learning before you get your first beat out there.

Well the good news is that it is not that hard to learn how to make a beat on a computer and there are a few options that you have.

The first is to follow the advice above, but instead of going to a recording studio you can actually use a high-end program like Fruity Loops or Cubase.

However this will require a lot of musical knowledge and can be quite hard to get to grips with to start off.

The other way is to search for a good entry level beat maker and these can actually be quite good as they allow you to get up and running quickly making beats with some good sounds but without having to go through all the painstaking task of learning musical theory.

Then of course if you like it you can move on to the more advanced solutions.

There are also a few free ones out there but these are not that good and although they are quite good for messing about with or if you just want to have a bit of a laugh if you are serious about making beats you will try the first 2 options instead.

I hope this article has helped explain how you can start making beats on a computer.
