How to Rap - A Couple Basic Learning Techniques

,
LEARN HOW TO MAKE RAP BEATS :

When it comes to learning how to rap, there are several different methods used for achieving this goal. This article will take a look at a couple helpful learning techniques that will help anyone looking to learn how to rap. When it comes to rapping, knowing the basics is very important

How to Rap - A Couple Basic Learning Techniques

The first thing that you need to realize is that learning how to rap does take some work. You should have an idea of what kind of rap style fits you the best. Do Do you prefer West coast, Midwest, East coast or the Dirty South style of rap.

After figuring out what style of rap is for you, I recommend studying successful rappers that are currently doing that style of rap. For example: if you are looking to learn how to be a West coast rapper, you might want to study an artist such as Snoop Dogg. If you are interested in learning the East coast style, you probably would look at some one like Jay-Z. The cool thing about this tip is that this is something that you probably are already doing. All you need to do now is listen a little closer then you normally would.

Another good idea would be to pick any subject, it can be school, home, a girl or even a sport. Once you've picked a topic, start writing about that subject using simple rhymes. What I mean is, do not use big complicated words use, use small simple words that are easy to rhyme with. Write your rhymes in pairs of two's. Try to fill up a whole sheet of paper with your rhymes. Don't worry about it making sense, just write it. Once you have your full sheet of rhymes, read it over and over until you can rap it with out having to look at your paper.

Once you get it to the point where you can rap it without looking at your paper, get any type of recorder to record yourself rapping. Record yourself rapping and listen to it several times. Listen to see if you are messing up, if you stutter or just can't be understood. After mastering that rhyme from the paper and sounding smooth and clear on tape, start a whole new rhyme about a whole new topic. Doing this exercise will get you used to writing and rapping rhymes. The more you do this, the easier it will become and the more complex your rhymes will get. So when it comes to learning how to rap, this helpful learning technique will get you off to a good start.

Super Easy Way - How To Make Beats On The Computer

,
LEARN HOW TO MAKE RAP BEATS :

Let me be the one to tell you that it is very possible to make beats on the computer In fact more and more music producers all over the world are starting to make some of their hottest creations using nothing but their desktops. The really cool thing is that making beats on your computer can be done rather inexpensively. So there is no need to worry about needing some big budget to being able to start producing amazing beats. In this article I am going to go over one of the easiest ways to do this.

Super Easy Way - How To Make Beats On The Computer

The first thing that I would recommend doing before you get started is to make sure that your computer is ready to make beats on it. This can be done y simply doing a computer tune up. A computer does not take a lot of time to do but can really improve the quickness of your beat making. Do a simple Google search on "computer tune up for music production. You will find several easy to follow instructions on making sure your computer is ready to make the quality beats that you want.

Next you will need to find a music producing software that will have all of the features needed to make hot professional sounding tracks. There are tons of software out there that can get the ob done. There are also some out there that are not even worth the time to even think about them. Do a little research on beat making software and see which one will work best for you. You want to make sure that your beat making software has the essential features such as built in sound kits, the ability to import samples, multi track recording and easy to navigate interface.

Now that your computer is ready to go and you've found a software that you feel comfortable with, it's time to make some beats. I would suggest going to YouTube and looking a some tutorials based around your beat making software. Try to learn as much as you can concerning your online beats maker. Doing this will make things a lot easier when it's time to create your master pieces.

A good place to start when it comes to making your beats is the tempo. Have n idea of how fast you want your track to be. Set the tempo to your liking then find a nice drum kit. This is when you can lay down a nice drum pattern. This pattern that you will create will basically set the tone of the entire beat. After your drums are laid you should think about the baseline. Find a nice base and play it to where it compliments the drums that are already there.

Now this is where your creative juices can really start flowing. Once your drums and baseline are down you will want to start adding in any instruments that are available to you. Once you feel that your beat is where in needs to be you can save it and move on to the next.

Learning how to make beats online is definitely not difficult you just have to have the desire to make it happen. If you do then there is no reason why you can't be the next mega beat maker.

Making Your Own Beats - Hip Hop Beats Tips

,
LEARN HOW TO MAKE RAP BEATS :

If you are interested in making your own beats, then read this. You will learn tips to create hip hop beats.

Making Your Own Beats - Hip Hop Beats Tips

As a beats maker, it is important to understand the different steps involved in creating your beats. Today we are just going to focus on the difference between editing, mixing, and mastering. Some people think that all of this occurs in the same step. Sometimes one step may blend into another, but these are actually three different steps.

The Editing Step

Once you have created your initial recording of the various tracks, you need to go back through each track and make any necessary changes. Sometimes you might end up changing a complete arrangement and other times it might be just certain notes in certain instruments. You may listen and decide that you want to have a different instrumental sound.

The Mixing Step

It is during this phase that you add your effects and listen to how all of the tracks blend together. You can add such things as your reverb, echo, volume, panning and distortion to name just a few. You can work with each track individually or you can work with a combination of tracks and then put them all together.

The Mastering Step

During this phase, the mastering engineer takes the final mix and does some last adjustments to the sound. It is during this step that the compression of the full track and the EQ of the complete song are done. The final timing and volume issues are completed and a master tape is created. Once the final tape is completed, it is then ready for the duplication process, where a predetermined number of CDs are produced in the required format.

Underground Hip Hop Music

,
LEARN HOW TO MAKE RAP BEATS :

Underground hip hop music maintains the core compentencies that mainstream artists sometime miss. Artists such as Aesop Rock, Murs, Atmosphere and Blackalicious certainly focus more effort on creating well produced beats and thought provoking lyrics. Here's a brief list of the underground hip hop music I'm listening to right now.

Underground Hip Hop Music

Float by Aesop Rock. This classic hip hop album screams "underground." I've had this album for over seven years and still hear something new every time. The lyrics are among the deepest and most complex ever written, with each track unfolding new layers of meaning after repeated listens. This is certainly not the most easily accessible rap, and you shouldn't expect much after a single cursory listen; like all of Aesop's albums, it only gets better with time.

The Undisputed Truth by Brother Ali. Since his album Rites of Passage dropped in 2000, I've been a fan of this rapper. Underground hip hop music goes in many directions, and while rappers like Aesop Rock stretch its boundaries, Brother Ali returns to its roots, using call and response over classic breakbeats. This is one of my personal favorite rap albums, ever.

Blazing Arrow by Blackalicious. This album is one of the most broad musical landscapes ever produced.  With the unbeatable team of Chief Xcel as producer and MC Gift of Gab, Blazing Arrow is at times frightening, inspiring and downright spiritual in its exploration of topics such as the role of blacks in America, presidential campaigns and that indescribable feeling of joy which can be found at the strangest of times. Certainly one of the highest expressions of hip hop music in the past decade.

Black Star by Mos Def and Talib Kweli. OK, so the commercial success of this album may hinder its inclusion with the underground, but the topics addressed by these two world class MCs is very underground in scope. Thorughout the album, you hear references to where mainstream hip hop is going wrong, and how the truly great rappers still come from the underground. Talib Kweli says so himself "Cats with the raw skills... they're in the underground."

These four albums are my current favorites as representations of underground hip hop music at its finest. For anyone looking to learn more about underground rap, these four are a great start, both for their musical and lyrical prowess. While mainstream artists may make more money, the underground artists are the ones who carry the torch.

Study Skills are Boring! Or, are They?

,
LEARN HOW TO MAKE RAP BEATS :

"Study skills are boring!" That is what most students tell me when I first meet them.

Study Skills are Boring! Or, are They?

Boring!? These are skills that can help them get better grades and spend less time on homework...how can they be boring?

Honestly, there is a good explanation for the bad rap that study skills have developed over the years because a lot of boring things are labeled as "study skills." Learning how to use guide words in a dictionary...a necessary skill, but boring! SQ3R...a reading strategy with many merits, but leaves me asking, "Who wants to take the time to do all five steps?" Boring! Identifying the main idea and supporting details on endless worksheets? Another important skill, but still boring.

There is a broader and more important role study skills should be playing in the lives of our middle and high school students, especially in our current Information Age, when we must prepare students for many careers and jobs that do not even exist yet. Study skills are:

" The skills required to be an independent learner.

" Skills that build confidence.

" Skills that develop efficiency.

" Skills that improve performance to prepare our students for high-stakes tests and the globally competitive job market of the future.

" Skills that enable students to be proactive, make good decisions, and think critically.

The LAST thing they should be is boring!

We were all born with a natural desire to learn. Infants, toddlers, and pre-schoolers love to explore their world and take pride in learning new things. Just yesterday, my four-year-old was so excited about learning that he stood on top of his chart and raised both arms in triumph exclaiming in a 'na-na-na-na-na-na' tone, "I learned a new wo-rd! I learned a new wo-rd!" THAT was utter exhilaration over learning!

But, sometime in the elementary years, most students lose that enthusiasm for learning, usually because they lose all of their choices with learning. Learning becomes dictated by their teachers, school districts, and state-mandated curriculum. They are suddenly swallowed into a bureaucracy of texts, tests, and lectures that would bore any rational human being.

Much of these mandates and "lack of choices" are and will remain out of students' control, but there is a vital component we can offer students to bring some pizzazz back to learning. Teach them study skills...principles and strategies to be organized and learn efficiently. Show them they have the power to beat the system. Well, maybe not beat the system, but at least work with the system strategically to be successful.

When strategic learning enters the picture, students regain some control. They develop personal power. And they learn important life-long skills that will someday help them manage a home and career.

These may sound like lofty concepts, but they have real, concrete implications. For example, as parents and educators:

" We can acknowledge that organizing papers and school-work is difficult because traditional systems actually complicate the process. We can then explore principles for organizing and strategies to simplify the process.

" We can acknowledge that text-books are boring. But, if students understand how to maximize their brain's learning process, they can be strategic readers and exponentially increase their reading comprehension while only reading a fraction of the text.

" When we want to say, "Why can't you plan ahead?!" we can pause and understand that they have never really learned how to plan ahead. Armed with that perspective, we can help them discover how to prioritize their time and think proactively.

There is a commercial that depicts two professionals heading into their office building at the beginning of the day. They are both neatly groomed and dressed professionally. You can presume from their appearance and surroundings that they are well-educated people. They are both half-way up an escalator when the escalator suddenly stops.

They look shocked and bewildered. "I don't need this!" complains the woman. "Figures!" grumbles the man. They look around in panic and start feeling around for their cell phones, but both discover they have forgotten their phones.

As the commercial continues, these two "smart professionals" remain stranded for what appears to be hours, yelling and screaming for help and wallowing in their unfortunate sorrow that they are stuck on an escalator.

That's right...it's an escalator, NOT an elevator.

Are you wondering why they don't just stand up and walk off?

That's the point of the commercial...some solutions are so blatantly obvious to some, but not to all. Students, in particular, are commonly stuck on their own escalators, running for help every time they get stuck and not employing any strategies or critical thinking to move forward.

Arming students with study skills --skills for thinking strategically about organizing, managing time, and learning-- gives them the power to simply stand up and walk off their own escalator.

Taking control over their learning? Learning how to 'play in the system' with strategy? There is nothing boring about that!

How to Make Your Own Beats in Hours!

,
LEARN HOW TO MAKE RAP BEATS :

I've been in the music industry for over ten years. I have personally dealt with over a hundred producers. Some were great at making beats, but were not dependable. And some of the ones that were dependable, their beats were not that good. I am very serious about my craft, so I hated the fact that I had to wait for a producer to do something with my track or make an appointment to ever hear beats. So I got fed up and learned to make my own beats. Here are some easy tips on how to make your own beats.

How to Make Your Own Beats in Hours!

1. Know your style. A lot of musicians (especially rappers) just listen to several of different beats, pick out some they like, and rap over them. Some of the beats are different styles, genres, and flavors. This is one mistake a lot of artists make. They don't know their particular style. So before starting to make your own beats, know the style you want to give yourself. Record labels will then know your strengths.

2. Know how to make a song. This step is critical especially when learning how to make your own beats. Depending on what genre you are working with, the format of the song may be different. If you are working with R&B tracks, the format is usually the intro, verse, chorus, verse, bridge, etc. If you are a rapper, there is usually not a bridge. But you cannot just have a basic beat throughout the song. There should be a switch up where the listener knows which part of the beat is the chorus, verse, bridge and etc.

3. Practice, practice, practice! I know that sounds cliche, but really it should be number 1. Everyone cannot make quality beats. It is a gift and talent. If you're an artist trying to learn how to make your own beats, you must put forth just as much effort you put into your songwriting.

Classic Country Artists

,
LEARN HOW TO MAKE RAP BEATS :

Classic country artists have made such an impression on the music industry that many of them have earned a special place in the history of music. Classic country music or as it is sometimes called, Country and Western music, has made its mark on society and it will always a big part of our lives.

Classic Country Artists

It's just as popular today as it was in the beginning even though there are many other types of music to listen to such as rock and roll, pop, hip-hop and so forth. Many new country singers are springing up every year who model themselves after one of the original singers who helped get things started so many years ago.

Classic country music began evolving in the 20s and Jimmie Rodgers was given the title "Father of Country Music" because it's believed that this type of music began with both Rodgers and the Carter family. Of course, many more great musicians have made a significant impact over the years and they still hold the interest of music lovers today.

In fact, so many country artists have made an impact on the music industry that it's difficult to narrow down the list to just a few but here are 10 of the top classic country artist of all time:

1. Johnny Cash

2. George Jones

3. Conway Twitty

4. Charlie Pride

5. Buck Owens

6. Patsy cline

7. Merle Haggard

8. Hank Williams

9. Dolly Parton

10. Waylon Jennings

These names will always be remembered as some of the greatest singers and in some cases, songwriters of the 20th century. Their music is played over the airways and collectors everywhere seek out albums created by these artists to add to their collection. Some of them are worth a lot of money especially when they are in mint condition.

Many singers have dabbled in different types of music throughout their careers. Jimmy Buffett was one of these who seemed to add a county song or two to his albums even though he was better known for his pop and folk music. Others like Elvis Presley began their career as a country singer but then moved on to sing rock and roll music. He will always be remembered for his amazing style of music in both genres.

Country music has come a long way since those well-known artists began their career and in some ways, it has even changed. This is why remembering the classic country artists of yesteryear are so important for music lovers everywhere.

They contain ingredients which are plant based and they are similar to estrogen, so by applying these creams to your breast they enhance the growth of your breast tissue by stimulating the estrogen receptors in the mammary glands.

5 Scientific Ways That Music Benefits Infants and Toddlers

,
LEARN HOW TO MAKE RAP BEATS :

Do you like music? Whether it is rock, jazz, classical country, rap, easy listening or polka, music is important in our everyday lives. It can bring out a rainbow of emotions in us. The slow, soulful playing of violins can remind us of past loved ones. A strong beat can give us energy and motivation before starting an important task. And so-called "elevator music" helps to calm our nerves while waiting in doctors' waiting rooms. Regardless of your background, such as being Amish and living in Amish Country Ohio, music is a part of your life. But how important is music to our babies?

5 Scientific Ways That Music Benefits Infants and Toddlers

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, for whom the Baby Mozart Music Festival DVD is named after, has become one of the most celebrated composers of all time. However, his musical achievements as a child are equally amazing. At the age of just three-years-old, Mozart was already playing the clavichord (basically, a small piano). One year later, he was already writing short pieces of music!

Signs of Mozart's musical genius continued during his childhood. At just five-years-old, he gave his first concert at an Austrian university. At seven-years-old, Mozart once picked up a violin and played perfectly part of a musical piece that was new to him. Amazingly, Mozart had never had a single formal violin lessons! Young Mozart toured Europe for three years, and was featured in various concerts for kings and queens. When he returned to Austria, he wrote his first opera at the age of 11-years-old!

Will your child be the next Mozart? Well, whether or not your child is Amish and living in Amish Country Ohio, music is nonetheless important in his or her life. Here are some reasons why nurturing early childhood music is so vital:

1. Music can help to develop a child's fine motor skills (i.e. using small muscle groups to play a piano) and gross motor skills (i.e. using large muscle groups to dance). In addition, music improves vocal, speaking and listening skills.

2. Rhythm and pitch are part of your child's natural development. Sometimes children
would rather sing than listen, skip than walk, and dance instead of standing still. Is this normal? It is, and here is proof:

o A fetus is already aware of the heartbeat of his or her mother.

o For centuries, music and lullabies have become standard methods for helping babies to fall asleep.

o In what experts refer to as "The Mozart Effect," exposure to classical music can have a significantly positive effect on humans' physical and mental health. Several studies have proven this theory. And this beneficial effect of classical music influences not only adults, but children as well.

3. The sharing of musical instruments and playing in a "band" can help toddlers to learn important social skills.

4. Music can have an important influence on the development of a child's brain, particularly through the age of six-years-old. During these years, the most significant brain development occurs.

5. Infants and toddlers tend to be less inhibited about making errors, than older children are. After children start elementary school, they are required to learn the "correct" way to sing a song or play an instrument. However, pre-school children can have jam session on a toy grand piano, without being worried about hitting the right keys. As a parent, try to grin and bear the sour notes.

Not every child can become a musical genius. However, regardless of whether or not you are Amish and living in Amish Country Ohio, music is fundamental in nurturing your child's physical, mental, and social development. It is more than just music to his or her ears.

Making Your Own Rap Or Hip Hop Beats The Right Way - A Guide For Beginners

,
LEARN HOW TO MAKE RAP BEATS :

If you don't know how to make beats or have never made your own beats before this article will help you get started. Making music is something that can be both at times fun and frustrating, but when you have created something that sounds great you get that awesome feeling of accomplishment.

Making Your Own Rap Or Hip Hop Beats The Right Way - A Guide For Beginners

Here are 7 tips on how to make your own rap or hip hop beats that will get you started.

1.) Choose your style - It's essential to know what kind of music you want to create before making it. There are all kinds of styles you can choose from e.g rap, RNB, techno, hip hop and more.

2.) Choose a producer - Having someone to look up to is always a good for motivation. Choose a well known producer or artist and follow in their foot steps. Get to know what kind of music and what kind of beats they produce and when ever your creating your own beats make them as if you where making it for them and you need their approval.

3.) Planning and Formatting - Another essential part of creating your own beats is formatting. What I mean by this is, you will need to plan or map out the order in which your song will be laid out. Example - intro, verse, chorus, bridge etc. You will need to work out how many bars the intro will have, how many the verses will have, how many bars the chorus will have and so on.

4.) Making your own beats and what to use - Now we all need something to lay down our beats. There are a number of tools, software and equipment you can use but the most common these days would have to be beat making software because it is the most affordable.

Beat making software like FL Studio, Dubturbo, sonic producer and Abelton are all the rage today and will all get the job you need done. But you may want to use a combo of both beat making software and studio gear like an MPC.

They all will include a mixture of sounds of instrumentals like drum machines, synths, guitar and samples of all kinds of instruments.

5.) Laying down your beat - Once you a.) have an idea for a beat and b.) have mapped out the format of your beats its time to get busy laying down your beats into a sequence so it makes a good rhythm. The good thing about beat making software and using an MPC is you can create multiple bars and layer them over the top of each other.

When you play back your beat it will play all the patterns of beats in a combination and if done right you will have one cool sounding beat.

6.) Importing Samples - Another popular way to make cool beats is by importing samples into your mix. What you do is crop a sample of a record or a song and import it into your mix. You can be as creative as you like but the goal is to reproduce something hip and fresh.

7.) Take your time and learn the fundamentals - Like I said at the start of this article making your own beats is both fun and frustrating. It's important to learn the basics and all the fundamentals. Once you learn them everything comes easy and all that is needed is coming up with new and creative ideas.

The Best Product Review of Rap Beats

,
LEARN HOW TO MAKE RAP BEATS :

If you didn't know, it takes a lot of effort to create rap beats. I stress that because not only did I experience it, I watched others labor over this art. It truly is art. Your basically watching someone create rap beats either with loops or from samples and this can be as tedious as film editing.

The Best Product Review of Rap Beats

I am in my early forties and trip over how two decades ago rap music had a bad outlook. Not today. Rap artists have become one of the most respected music artists out there and lets not forget some of the richest. The genre has caught on for music in movies, movie trailers and selling your basic products.

It's the skill that goes in to creating those rap beats is what floors me. The hip-hop beat is complex. Many are trying to get in the game by creating their own beats experimenting with all types of products or online software. It's important to take that journey and create some good sounding quality that will make that song come alive.

What I have seen is there are some basic things to do first. Find you some good software. There are many to choose from but be selective. Develop an original style. Music lovers are always looking for something fresh and new. Try to make your rap beats using loops and samples that are an unusual and start to develop your own style of beats. This helps you stand out from the crowd and the producers out there. If you have mad skills composing, then write your own melodies. If you aren't too savvy in that area, then experiment with loops and rap beats online and blend them with your project, and add your own elements too.

Next, make sure you understand the structure of rap beats. There are many genres of music so they have different rules and structure. So hip-hop beats have syncopated kicks and a snare or clap in every other bar. Often you will see that closed hi-hats are used to play 16th notes, when open hats are put in the offbeat. This is very common. It helps for a more contemporary sounding rap beats and is used in the dirty south, Crunk, techno, and glam rap, but you'll find more older beats use hat.

Create instrumental loops. It's important to have some kind of repetitive loop. Learn to use different kinds of instruments and sounds to develop a good quality loop. Now that you've written your loops, try something that augments the original loop but doesn't compete with it. They should be subtle and add to the song instead of hanging in the background. Soon you'll be a proficient rap beats creator doing your own thing effortlessly.

Pop in some effects like a recount to your snare or clap, and a bass boot to the kick. Use your effects in moderation, but don't distort the track and lose listening pleasure. Finally make your master track of your rap beats. The beat should be loud enough without outshining the melody. Your hi-hats should be quieter than the kick and snare. Keep experimenting with sound levels until you got it how you want. Suddenly you find you've become a rap beats creator dominating the game.

Start Making Your Own Rap Beats Today

For quite a few of you who want to join the legends within the rap music industry, it can be hard figuring out exactly how to get started off. This is especially true of rap, as what seems to the untrained as being easy, is really a complicated musical art form that calls for lots of training to get just right. If you are a novice just getting going, wanting to break into the music business big time at some point, then do not worry! Even celebrated rappers had to begin somewhere. For many rappers simply getting started in the business, a good place to start is learning the right way to make beats of ones own.

When you listen to music, then you understand what a beat is. It's the structure which holds the rap together, the time which you tap your feet to, the beat that gets you deep down inside. The key to a monster rap is the beat, and it does not take much to learn the way to make sounds of your own. The best strategy for getting started is by being attentive to your favorite performers, and identifying what it is about their music which you really like. Is it the drum pattern? Possibly it's the snare or perhaps the percussion. Start writing these factors down, and from there make use of those things as motivation for beats of your own.

Once you know what stirs your soul, you have a place to start. Beat making software that delivers awesome sound does not have to be costly, so go ahead and carry out some analysis on good programs. Take your time in picking one, and start looking for functions that can provide you the sounds you want. Read product reviews, and take advantage of free program trials. Once you have chosen an amazing program, all that's left to do is start experimenting. Concentrate on the components which you identified earlier, and start combining them in to a new beat that's all your own work.

How to Start Making Hip Hop Beats on Your Computer

,
LEARN HOW TO MAKE RAP BEATS :

You are an aspiring musician who wants to get started making his or her own hip hop beats (or rap, house, techno, etc.) on your computer. This article will, in detail, explain how you can do this for free, without having to spend thousands on studios, producer gear, and software.

How to Start Making Hip Hop Beats on Your Computer

We're hitting a huge leap in the way musicians in the 21st Century produce there music through the means of technology. Just about two decades ago, the idea that anyone can own a home recording studio in there bedrooms would seem like a blur. Producers and pro musicians would spend thousands of dollars on analogue gear, hardware samplers, and processors just to make records.

But as we move into the digital age, softwares are beginning to replace "dinosaur" methods of producing. This isn't to say that analog gear has no value. This article will explain why anyone can music without having to spend any money. Here is a virtual beat maker that acts just like that MPC2500 you've had your eye on.

Ok, you're thinking, "great but what makes this beat maker so special?". Here are 3 main points:

1. It has a simple to use interface. Keeping things simple, fun and strait to the point. Too many beat machines have a steep learning curve. Less is definitely more! Things can become very complicated where the focus is too much either on graphics or on parameters/EFX plugins that will distract users from making music. As someone who is just starting out, you'll often find yourself overwhelmed by how to use a program like Pro Tools, because too much is thrown into your face all at once. It's not You need to start from simple means, and then gradually add more plugins.

2. Get your musical ideas from your brain to your speakers immediately without worrying "wheres this or wheres that?" Without these complications, you're be free to express the music inside you without getting in your way! Part of why musicians and producers have problems with computer music software is the feeling of working on your PC desktop, not music. Instead of building up that melody you hear in your head, you'll spend more time opening and closing windows just to get where you want. Of course, this takes time out of your workflow and will leave you uninspired and bored. This is very counter-productive to making music because it's supposed to be a fun process, not work!

3. With everything you'll need, never worry about having to spend add-on gear just to make beats. Tap the out on your computer keyboard if you like! With many fancy and expensive music gear on the market, it's easy to fall into the trap of buying hardware you don't really need. So often, producers fall victim to buying into the hype of the latest gadgets, or the next best instruments, and spend way more than they really need. As a result, they begin losing interest in making music. Avoid this trap by keeping it simple with easy to use software.

How to Develop Rap Flow

,
LEARN HOW TO MAKE RAP BEATS :

Flow is no great secret, despite what some may say. Singers have flow. Preachers have flow. With a little hard work, you can have flow.

How to Develop Rap Flow

It is, simply put, the vocal quality of your voice. I'd like to take the mystery out of flow in this article. Here's how to strengthen your flow:

MC's are essentially made up of two parts: flow and lyrics. In this exercise you only care about flow. Play a beat and freestyle over it, going as long as you can without stopping to breathe. Don't worry about rhyming; you can just as easily "doo whap" your way through the exercise. The focus should be on developing sounds that connect with each other and the beat.

Try rapping in different accents: English, French, Middle Eastern, whatever. You may laugh, but look at Slick Rick. Next time you freestyle with others, try to focus on lyrics. When you freestyle alone, focus on flow. When you are comfortable with both, try incorporating them together.

Lastly, you want to change your speed. Start off trying to rap as fast as possible, but with a constant beat (early Outkast albums are a lot like this). Then, slow it down and try and keep in time. Now, try to rhyme super fast for eight measures, then super slow for eight measures, then super fast for eight measures, and so on. By working out the extremes, you'll feel much more comfortable changing your speed while rapping, which will make you sound more original and polished.
